Schmidt RFID G-Box has won the Gold Award of Hong Kong ICT Awards 2007, under the Best Ubiquitous Networking (Mobile Enterprise Solution) category. Schmidt’s G-Box has won judging panel’s hearts by providing a lower cost of deployment for companies that use RFID.
Schmidt's G-Box is an intelligent, all-in-one device, comprising powerful RFID reader, fanless CPU, embedded middleware and application software, with 4 UHF Antenna ports that meets most of industrial requirements. It can read and write tags, process information between tags and server, while monitoring and controlling external sensors and signals. It supports running of complex RFID applications and Wi-Fi wireless connection. It is widely employed in fashion retail, asset tracking, work-in-progress and warehouse management.
The Hong Kong ICT Awards, with support by HKSAR Government, was established in 2006.
