From July 12th to 14th, 2017, the three-day sales meeting of Schmidt Automatic Identification Business Unit in China was held in Hangzhou. Sales team from North,East and South District, pre-sales, operations, software and marketing departments attended the meeting. Schmidt has transformed itself into a solution-oriented system integration company that combines hardware and software.
At the initiative of Ms. Jean Li, HR Director of Schmidt China, new and old employees introduced themselves and warmed up the meeting in a harmonious atmosphere.
In the first day of the meeting, Mr. William Lin, General Manager of AUTO-ID BU, first introduced the theme of the company's strategic transformation and development plan for FY18. Schmidt is known as the “Huangpu Military Academy” in the Auto Identification and Data Collection industry with its long history and strong professional technology. The company has completed the strategic development transformation from hardware-based to system integrator. The advantage of Schmidt different from its competitors is that we have established a good strategic partnership with the world's leading software and hardware solution providers. Together with Schmidt's strong software team support, we can focus more on the overall solution. In addition, this year, we will expand Schmidt's diverse capabilities by strengthening interactions with vendors and complementing and verticalizing management of program teams. Under the background,the Automated Identification Business Unit determines this year's business target, believe that will be fully completed through the efforts of Schmidt people.
On Second day meeting, the sales team leaders of the Southern District, the Eastern District, and the North District also analyzed the current status of their respective regions and introduced the sales targets and action plans hoping to achieve this year. The head of the software department showed the company several mature software products and hoped to promote these products from the perspective of sales to increase the company's software revenue. As the supporting department, the operation department supports the powerful procurement, logistics and maintenance functions. The department leading also introduced the entire operation process from the sales order to the delivery of the product, which reflects the company's rigorous and efficient operation management model.
After two-day brainstorming, under the leadership of William Lin, General Manager of the AUTO ID Business Unit, all the participants had a walk tour from Longjing Village to Jiuxi, soothing the mind and body, cheers and laughter along the way in the sunset, and the evening gathering of the whole meal pushed the atmosphere to a climax, which also marked the completion of this meeting. All the agendas have been completed successfully.
